Sealing
North Carolina is known for its fluctuation of weather. What many may not know is that weather can have a significant effect on the appearance and stability of asphalt. Over time, exposure to the elements can cause asphalt to lose its luster. In addition to weather, petroleum products such as gasoline and oils can also affect asphalt’s appearance and even cause it to crack.
Satterfield Paving, Inc. provides an affordable solution. Seal coating is a process in which a tar based liquid is sprayed onto asphalt to seal the pores from water and other free radicals that cause wear. First we clean the asphalt of all debris then spray with SealMaster which is a federal government approved sealer, mixed with sand and a rubberized additive.
Our seal coating services can help protect as well as prolong the deterioration of the asphalt from weather conditions and/or petroleum products. Seal coating not only helps maintain the appearance of the asphalt but extends the lifetime of it as well.
Striping
In addition to seal coating, Satterfield provides striping services.
